Job Overview
One Acre Fund is seeking Tree Implementation and Audit Interns to support tree implementation activities, conduct field audits, verify program data, and strengthen accountability across field operations.
Key Responsibilities
Field & Production Auditing
- Conduct nursery and seedling audits by:
- Verifying production numbers
- Inspecting seedling quality
- Auditing distribution of farming inputs such as seeds, tools, and soil.
- Verify farmer enrollment and payment records through:
- Field visits
- Phone verification
- Cross-check seedling distribution records to ensure correct quantities reach intended farmers.
- Investigate discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
- Conduct beneficiary verification and carbon credit audits to support accurate reporting for international carbon credit certification.
Implementation & Data Support
- Support day-to-day data entry for farmer enrollment.
- Assist with seedling distribution logistics.
- Collect and verify Transportation Management System (TMS) forms.
- Ensure dispatched quantities match field deliveries.
- Draft audit reports and provide actionable recommendations to management for operational improvement.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum Certificate-level qualification in any field.
- Agriculture, Forestry, or Environmental Studies are an added advantage.

- Strong attention to detail for identifying inconsistencies in:
- Paperwork
- Logistics records
- Data entries.
- Willingness to work extensively in the field, including visits to tree nurseries and farmers.
