Job Purpose

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for General Ledger month-end close and providing accurate, reliable and complete historical financial information to stakeholders.

The role will also support the Record to Report Manager in system-based reporting, financial analytics and continuous process improvement across KSCL and IDTL, supporting a modern finance function.

Key Responsibilities

General Ledger & Reconciliations

• Prepare and process journal entries where applicable.
• Perform intercompany reconciliations and reporting.
• Prepare relevant sub-ledger reconciliations.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations.
• Respond accurately and promptly to matters raised during General Ledger close.
• Prepare Country on a Page (COAP) with balance sheet notes for KSCL and IDTL.
• Maintain the company’s fixed asset register.

Financial Reporting & Audit

• Manage interim and final external audits.
• Prepare year-end reporting packs in compliance with IFRS.
• Prepare the company’s annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Respond to audit inquiries in a timely manner.
• Perform internal control reviews according to the agreed plan.

Financial Analysis & Planning

• Support preparation and monitoring of financial models used for reporting.
• Perform financial and variance analysis using Excel-based analytics.
• Provide financial insights to support management decision-making.
• Assist with balance sheet forecasting and other FP&A activities as required.

Systems & Process Improvement

• Support SAP S/4HANA-based General Ledger, sub-ledger and reconciliation processes as a system key user.
• Support automation and continuous improvement of monthly reporting templates.
• Improve and automate reconciliation processes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong Excel and financial data analysis skills.
• Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA or a similar ERP system is an added advantage.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Exposure to financial modelling is an added advantage.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Business Administration or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• 3 years of relevant working experience.
• Holder of CPA or ACCA.

Terms of Service

The successful candidate will be engaged on a Permanent Contract.
