Location: Tanzania (Primary) with Africa-wide operational exposure
Work Schedule: 12-hour rotational shifts (Day/Night)
1. Data Center Technician (Mission-Critical Operations)
Location
Tanzania (Multi-site Operations)
Role Purpose
To ensure continuous operation of mission-critical systems through real-time monitoring, rapid alarm response, first-level fault diagnosis, and structured escalation to engineers and the Network Operations Center (NOC).
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor:
- UPS systems (load, bypass, battery)
- Generators (fuel, alarms, operational status)
- Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS)
- Cooling systems (CRAC/CRAH/DX)
- Environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, water leakage)
- Respond to alarms from monitoring systems such as Zabbix and AIVA.
- Conduct first-level troubleshooting.
- Perform routine inspections and support preventive maintenance activities.
- Maintain:
- Shift logs
- Incident records
- Handover reports
- Adhere to SOPs, safety requirements, and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Diploma in:
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Mechatronics
- Electronics & Telecommunications
Experience
- 2–5 years in:
- Data centers
- Telecom sites
- Industrial facilities
Required Skills
- Knowledge of:
- UPS systems
- Diesel generators
- Fuel systems
- ATS systems

- Ability to interpret alarms and respond effectively.

2. Data Center Engineer (Electrical / Mechanical)
Location
Tanzania with Regional Assignments Across Africa
Role Purpose
To ensure system reliability, rapid fault resolution, and optimization of mission-critical infrastructure across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical Systems
- Troubleshoot:
- UPS systems
- ATS systems
- Low Voltage (LV) Distribution
- Generators
- Analyze load and fault conditions.
- Ensure N+1 and 2N redundancy compliance.
Mechanical Systems
- Manage:
- CRAC/CRAH systems
- DX cooling systems
- HVAC systems
- Optimize airflow and thermal performance.
Incident Management
- Lead incident response activities.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Coordinate with:
- NOC teams
- Site teams
- Improve reliability and SLA compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
Experience
- 3–7 years in:
- Data centers
- Telecom infrastructure
- Industrial mission-critical environments

3. NOC Engineer (Mission-Critical Infrastructure)
Location
Tanzania (Central Network Operations Center)
Role Purpose
To ensure continuous monitoring and control of infrastructure across multiple facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor infrastructure using:
- Zabbix
- AIVA
- Analyze alarms and escalate incidents appropriately.
- Coordinate responses with site teams.
- Maintain operational logs.
- Ensure Service Level Agreement (SLA) compliance.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Telecommunications
- Information Technology
- Electrical Engineering
Experience
- 2–5 years in NOC environments.
Technical Knowledge
- Monitoring systems
- SNMP
- TCP/IP
- Networking fundamentals
