Geita Gold Mining Limited (GGML) is Tanzania’s leading gold producer, operating a single mine in the Geita Region. The company is a subsidiary of AngloGold Ashanti, a leading international gold producer with operations across several countries worldwide.
The mine is located in the Lake Victoria Goldfields of northwestern Tanzania:
- Approximately 85 km from Mwanza
- Approximately 20 km southeast of Lake Victoria
- Head Office located in Geita
- Support Office in Dar es Salaam

Academic Performance Requirement
Applicants must have obtained:
- First Class Honours, or
- Second Class Honours
from a recognized university.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the GGML Graduate Trainee Programme, applicants must:
✅ Be a Tanzanian citizen.
✅ Be unemployed.
✅ Be between 18 and 30 years of age.
✅ Have graduated between 2022 and 2025.
✅ Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in one of the eligible fields listed below.
