Job Purpose
The Group Food & Beverage Manager will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for food and beverage functions across all Amani Collection properties.
The role is responsible for ensuring:
- High-quality guest experiences
- Operational consistency
- Profitability
- Excellent service standards
- Effective team performance
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
Food & Beverage Strategy & Operations
- Develop and implement group-wide food and beverage strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Oversee F&B operations across all Amani Collection properties.
- Ensure consistency in quality, service standards, and profitability.
- Conduct regular operational reviews and provide performance reports to management.
Menu Development & Guest Experience
- Create innovative menus, concepts, and guest experiences in collaboration with culinary teams.
- Analyze guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Support marketing initiatives, promotions, and revenue-generating opportunities.
Financial & Cost Management
- Monitor food and beverage costs, budgets, and revenue performance.
- Manage inventory control systems to minimize wastage and improve efficiency.
- Develop strategies to maximize profitability.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop F&B teams across the group.
- Build a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Support staff training and professional development.
Quality, Safety & Supplier Management
- Ensure compliance with:
- Health standards
- Safety requirements
- Hygiene regulations
- Quality procedures
- Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Negotiate favorable supplier agreements and contracts.
Qualifications & Experience
Applicants should possess:
- Proven experience as a:
- Food & Beverage Manager
- Group Food & Beverage Manager
- Similar senior hospitality leadership role
- Strong experience in:
- Luxury hotels
- Resorts
- Safari lodges
- Multi-property hospitality operations
Required Skills & Competencies
Candidates should demonstrate:
- Strong knowledge of F&B operations.
- Expertise in:
- Cost control
- Menu planning
- Service standards
- Revenue management
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
