Hardware Pre-Sales Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Support the sales team with tailored product configurations and technical solutions.
• Drive business development for Business Unit offerings.
• Recommend and position appropriate products based on client requirements.
• Manage vendor relationships and fulfil partner portal requirements.
• Maintain vendor training, certifications and partner status.
• Negotiate distributor pricing and monitor product stock availability.
• Secure deal registrations at an early stage to obtain price protection.
• Ensure complete technical compliance when responding to RFPs and tenders.
• Oversee hardware delivery, inspection and installation support.
• Research, identify and introduce new technology solutions to the business.
• Support back-office teams with proposal preparation and tender submissions.
• Apply strong organizational and communication skills when working across teams.
• Ensure end-to-end customer satisfaction from the sales process through delivery.

Key Deliverables

• Creation and management of sales opportunities and leads.
• Management of customer relationships and the end-to-end sales process.
• Achievement of high levels of customer satisfaction.
