Role Overview

The HBB (Home Broadband) Brand & Communications Manager is responsible for leading brand growth, digital marketing, media execution, and communication strategies for Airtel’s Home Broadband business.

This role combines:

The position acts as the brand custodian for HBB products and services.


Key Responsibilities

1. Creative Campaign Development

  • Lead development of HBB marketing campaigns from concept to execution
  • Work closely with creative and advertising agencies
  • Ensure all ATL, BTL, and digital creatives align with brand standards
  • Manage campaign timelines, quality, and budgets

2. Agency & Vendor Management

  • Monitor agency and supplier performance
  • Ensure cost efficiency and value delivery
  • Track invoices, payments, and LPO status
  • Maintain organized libraries of creative materials and competitor ads

3. Digital Marketing Strategy

  • Develop and execute digital-first marketing strategies
  • Manage paid media campaigns across:
    • Search
    • Social media
    • Display advertising
    • Video platforms
  • Optimize conversion funnels and customer journeys
  • Track KPIs such as:
    • Leads
    • CPA (Cost per Acquisition)
    • ROI
    • Conversion rates

4. Content & Social Media Management

  • Develop engaging digital content with agencies and internal teams
  • Manage platforms including:
    • Facebook
    • Instagram
    • TikTok
    • YouTube
    • LinkedIn
  • Grow audience engagement and online visibility
  • Update websites and digital platforms with new products and campaigns

5. Media Strategy & Execution

  • Develop ATL strategies across:
    • TV
    • Radio
    • Outdoor advertising
    • Print media
  • Optimize media mix and placement with media agencies
  • Track competitor media activity and share of voice
  • Identify innovative media opportunities for broadband users

6. Customer Experience & Social Listening

  • Collaborate with Customer Experience teams
  • Monitor customer conversations and online brand perception
  • Develop strategies to manage negative feedback and improve engagement
  • Use social listening insights to improve campaigns and messaging

7. Reporting & Performance Analysis

  • Analyze campaign performance using:
    • Website analytics
    • Social media insights
    • Market research
    • Consumer trends
  • Recommend optimization actions based on data insights
  • Monitor marketing ROI and brand performance indicators

8. Budget & Governance

  • Manage approved HBB marketing budgets
  • Ensure efficient spending and ROI achievement
  • Maintain compliance with internal approval and governance processes

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in:
    • Marketing
    • Business
    • Related field
  • Master’s degree is an added advantage

Required Experience

  • Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in:
    • Brand marketing
    • Integrated communications
    • Growth marketing
  • Proven experience managing:
    • ATL campaigns
    • Digital campaigns
    • Agencies and senior stakeholders
  • Telecom, FMCG, or tech industry experience preferred
