Helios Towers is seeking an experienced Head of People to lead its people strategy, strengthen organizational culture, and ensure workforce initiatives align with business objectives.
Role Overview
The Head of People will serve as a strategic partner to the leadership team, responsible for developing and executing people strategies that enhance employee experience, improve organizational performance, and support business growth.
The role oversees:
- Talent acquisition.
- Employee engagement.

- Compensation and benefits.
- Employee relations.
- HR compliance.
- Organizational transformation.
Key Responsibilities
People Strategy & HR Leadership
- Develop and implement the company’s people strategy, systems, procedures, and policies.
- Coordinate all People and Human Resources functions.
- Align workforce strategies with business objectives.
- Provide strategic HR guidance to senior leadership.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Oversee employee recruitment, selection, and placement processes.
- Ensure effective talent acquisition strategies.
- Support workforce planning and organizational growth.
Compensation, Benefits & Rewards
- Develop competitive remuneration and reward packages.
- Establish effective compensation procedures.
- Ensure fair and consistent reward practices.
Performance Management
- Develop, implement, and evaluate performance management systems.
- Promote a high-performance culture.
- Support employee development through effective feedback and performance processes.
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Lead healthy industrial relations across the organization.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Drive implementation of the company’s Code of Business Conduct.
- Ensure adherence to the Employment and Labour Relations Act.
Learning & Development
- Lead company-wide staff training, learning, and development initiatives.
- Build employee capabilities through targeted development programs.
- Support leadership development and succession planning.
Employee Communication & Engagement
- Develop strategies to improve management and employee communication.
- Enhance employee engagement and workplace culture.
- Promote a positive employee experience.
Leadership Support
- Keep the Managing Director informed on People-related issues and industry changes.
- Provide advice on workforce challenges and organizational improvements.
- Undertake additional assignments as directed by the Managing Director.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Applicants should have:
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Human Resources Management
- Public Administration
- Psychology
- Business Administration
- Industrial Relations
Professional Certifications (Advantage)
- CIPD
- SHRM
- HRCI
- CHRP
- Equivalent professional HR certification
Additional Qualification
- Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management (HRM).
Experience
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a similar HR leadership role within a reputable organization.
- At least 3 years’ experience in a senior People/HR leadership position.
