Job Summary
The Head of Product Development & Business Performance is responsible for driving growth, profitability, and operational efficiency within NBC’s Retail Banking business.

Key Responsibilities
1. Business Performance Management (30%)
Performance Monitoring
- Lead end-to-end performance management for Retail Banking.
- Monitor:
- Retail assets growth
- Retail liabilities growth
- Non-funded income
- Customer acquisition
- Portfolio quality
Reporting & Analytics
- Develop and maintain:
- KPIs
- Dashboards
- Scorecards
- Executive reports
- Prepare reports for Executive Management and Board review.
Business Optimization
- Track performance against:
- Budgets
- Strategic Transformation Plans (STP)
- Strategic initiatives
- Identify performance gaps and implement corrective actions.
- Use data analytics to improve decision-making and resource allocation.
Collaboration
Work closely with:
- Branch Banking
- Digital Banking
- Sales Teams
to improve customer growth, activation, and productivity.
2. Product Development & Management (25%)
Product Design & Innovation
Lead development and enhancement of retail banking products, including:
- Deposits
- Retail Loans
- Payments
- Debit and Credit Cards
- Agency Banking
- Digital Banking Products
Product Lifecycle Management
Manage products throughout their lifecycle:
- Concept Development
- Product Design
- Pricing
- Approval
- Launch
- Performance Monitoring
- Product Review
- Exit Strategy
Product Governance
Coordinate approvals with:
- Risk Management
- Compliance
- Legal
- Finance
- ALCO (Asset and Liability Committee)
Digital Transformation
- Drive digitization initiatives.
- Improve customer experience through innovative banking solutions.
- Support operational efficiency through digital products.
3. Financial & Commercial Oversight (25%)
Profitability Management
- Ensure retail products achieve profitability targets.
- Monitor product margins and revenue generation.
- Drive cost efficiency initiatives.
Financial Planning
Support:
- Budgeting
- Forecasting

- Revenue Optimization
Commercial Performance
- Monitor product uptake and customer adoption.
- Ensure achievement of financial targets.
4. Stakeholder Management (10%)
Internal Coordination
Act as a key liaison between:

Leadership Support

Academic Qualifications
