About the Role

We are seeking a competent and proactive HSE Supervisor to join our team in a fast-paced steel manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards while promoting a strong safety culture across all plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Compliance & Enforcement: Enforce compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and legal regulations.

• Safety Inspections: Conduct routine safety inspections across plant operations (furnace, rolling mill, tube mill, fabrication areas).

• Hazard Management: Identify workplace hazards and implement corrective and preventive measures.

• High-Risk Operations: Monitor and control high-risk activities, including hot work, confined space entry, working at heights, and lifting operations.

• Incident Investigation: Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, prepare detailed reports, and track corrective actions.

• Training & Awareness: Conduct safety inductions, training sessions, and toolbox talks.

• PPE Oversight: Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by employees and contractors.

• Auditing: Support internal and external HSE audits and maintain accurate documentation.

• Environmental Compliance: Monitor environmental compliance, including waste management and emissions control.

• Emergency Preparedness: Assist in emergency preparedness, fire drills, and evacuation procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience: * Minimum 3–5 years of experience in HSE within steel, manufacturing, or heavy industry.

  • Experience in furnace or heavy industrial operations is an added advantage.

• Knowledge: Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.

• Good communication and leadership skills.

• Ability to enforce compliance and promote a safety culture.
