Job Summary

The Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) is seeking a qualified ICT professional to serve as an ICT Officer II (Systems Analyst).

The successful candidate will participate in systems analysis, business process analysis, requirements gathering, system testing, implementation, maintenance, user support, system integration, and continuous improvement of information systems.

Duties and Responsibilities

The ICT Officer II (Systems Analyst) will:

1. Participate in systems analysis, business process analysis, and requirements gathering for information systems.
2. Prepare system specifications, technical documentation, and user manuals.
3. Participate in system testing, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of information systems.
4. Provide technical support to users and participate in user training and awareness programmes.
5. Participate in business process re-engineering and digital transformation initiatives.
6. Participate in data analysis, system integration, and quality assurance activities.
7. Monitor system performance and recommend appropriate improvements.
8. Perform any other official duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields:

• Computer Science
• Information Systems
• Information Technology
• Software Engineering
• Computer Engineering
• Business Information Systems
• Equivalent qualification from a recognized higher learning institution

Required Knowledge and Practical Exposure

Candidates should have knowledge or practical exposure in:

• Systems analysis
• Enterprise information systems
• User requirements gathering
• System testing
• ICT user support
• Business process analysis
• Technical documentation

Added Advantages

Knowledge of any of the following areas will be an added advantage:

• Cybersecurity
