Job Title: Intern Finance

Location: Dar es Salaam – Tanzania

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Loan Disbursement

  Process loan disbursements, verify documentation, and ensure all required approvals are obtained before funds are released.

• Process Payments

  Assist in preparing and processing payments to suppliers, staff, and other stakeholders while ensuring proper authorization and documentation.

• Maintain Financial Records

  Record financial transactions accurately and maintain organized records of loan disbursements, invoices, payment vouchers, and other financial documents.

• Perform Account Reconciliations

  Assist in reconciling bank accounts, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounts to ensure financial accuracy.

• Provide Financial and Administrative Support

  Support the Finance Department with data entry, audit documentation, and other administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily financial operation.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, or a related field.

2. At least two (2) years of experience in accounting; experience in the banking or financial services industry will be an added advantage.

3. Sound knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and accounting systems.

4. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
