Job Overview
Kilombero Sugar Company Limited (KSCL) is seeking a Procure to Pay Capturer to join its Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately capturing and recording both rapid and purchase order (PO) invoices in the SAP Financial Accounting System while supporting supplier reconciliations and procure-to-pay operations.
Key Responsibilities
Invoice Processing
- Record all rapid and purchase order (PO) invoices in the invoice register.
- Capture both rapid and purchase order invoices into the SAP Financial Accounting System.
- Ensure invoices with queries are resolved by coordinating with:
- User departments
- Procurement department
Payment & Reconciliation
- Produce monthly invoice payment reports.
- Coordinate and ensure supplier reconciliations are completed for assigned suppliers.
- Follow up on outstanding reconciliation issues.
Financial Administration
- Review weekly price variance reports.
- Follow up on returned items to suppliers and obtain corresponding credit notes.
- Ensure Goods Received Note (GRN) items are cleared promptly.
- Maintain proper filing and management of Procure-to-Pay documentation.
General Support
- Perform any other relevant duties assigned by the Line Manager.
- Maintain accurate financial records and support efficient Procure-to-Pay processes.
Required Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Accounting
- Finance
- Related field
Experience Required
- 1–2 years of experience working in a finance environment.
- Experience with:
- Invoice processing
- Financial administration
- Supplier reconciliation
- ERP systems (SAP experience is an added advantage)
