Position: Intern – Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E)

Key Responsibilities
- Support data collection, entry, cleaning, analysis and reporting.
- Assist health facilities and District Health Management Teams with data quality and timely reporting.
- Participate in data verification and routine monitoring visits.
- Support healthcare providers in using data collection and reporting tools.
- Track and follow up confirmed breast cancer patients to support continuity of care.
- Prepare project reports, presentations and data summaries.
- Support digital health information systems and databases.
- Perform other M&E duties assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Medical Degree (MD) or equivalent.
- Background/experience in biostatistics, public health or monitoring and evaluation.
- At least 1 year of experience in health program M&E.
- Knowledge of tools such as Microsoft Excel, ZanEMR, SharePoint, DHIS2 or Power BI.
- Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel to health facilities and outreach sites in Unguja and Pemba.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
