Job Overview

Masika Ventures is seeking a motivated and resourceful Junior Technical Officer to gain hands-on experience across various engineering and technical functions.

The role provides exposure to multiple disciplines, including:

• Mechanical Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Operations
• Quality Assurance (QA/QC)
• Process Improvement

The successful candidate will support technical activities, equipment maintenance, operational improvements, and sustainable engineering initiatives.

Previous professional experience is not mandatory. Candidates who demonstrate willingness to learn, problem-solving ability, and technical interest are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

The Junior Technical Officer will:

• Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of technical equipment.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.
• Support quality assurance processes to ensure production and operational standards are maintained.
• Document:
  • Maintenance activities
  • Equipment modifications
  • Operational challenges
• Develop process improvements using engineering principles and software tools.
• Support material planning and coordinate with procurement teams for resource allocation.
• Contribute to environmentally sustainable and safe engineering initiatives.
• Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors or managers.
