Position: Laboratory Technician

Number of Vacancies: 2 Positions

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine laboratory tests, including:
  • Moisture content analysis.
  • Bulk density determination.
  • Cleanliness testing.
  • Other quality control examinations.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records, test results, and analytical reports.
• Verify product weights, packaging standards, and labeling requirements.
• Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with established standards and specifications.
• Conduct measurements and assessments of machine performance related to product quality.
• Assist in sampling activities for:
  • Raw materials.
  • Work-in-progress products.
  • Finished goods.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper calibration and functionality.
• Report quality deviations and laboratory findings to the Quality Controller.
• Perform any other lawful duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must have:

• An Ordinary Diploma (NTA Level 6) in Food Science and Technology from a recognized institution.
• At least three (3) years of relevant working experience in the food processing industry.
