LIABILITY OFFICER

Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

Key Responsibilities

• Mobilize deposits, achieve liability targets, and acquire new deposit customers.
• Identify business opportunities, build partnerships, and execute sales initiatives.
• Maintain strong customer relationships, resolve inquiries, and promote cross-selling.
• Monitor portfolio performance, prepare reports, and sustain deposit growth.
• Ensure compliance with KYC, AML, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.

Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should have:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Banking and Finance, Economics, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in deposit mobilization, sales, business development, relationship management, or a similar banking/financial services role.
• A proven track record of achieving deposit mobilization or sales targets.
• Good knowledge of banking products and services, particularly liability products.
