About the Opportunity

Water Mission Tanzania invites qualified and legally registered local contractors or fundis to submit Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for construction and installation works under the Nghahelezi–Ng’anje Solar-Powered Borehole Water Supply Project in Chamwino District, Dodoma Region.

The project will provide safe water services to the villages of Nghahelezi and Ng’anje.

Scope of Work

The selected contractor will be involved in works including:

Civil works and rehabilitation of existing facilities
Construction of a borehole chamber
Construction of an 80 m³ masonry water tank
Installation of solar panels
Pipeline installation
Construction/installation of public water points
Installation of prepaid water meters
Construction of security fencing
Testing and commissioning
Project handover

Important: Water Mission Tanzania will provide the construction materials.

Eligibility Requirements

Interested contractors should demonstrate:

Relevant experience in similar construction and water-supply projects
Adequate technical and financial capacity
Qualified technical personnel
Appropriate CRB registration
Access to the equipment and resources required to complete the works
Legal registration and relevant licences

Applicants should submit a signed and stamped Expression of Interest together with supporting documents, including:

Company registration documents
Relevant licences
Tax certificates
Company profile
Financial records
Evidence of similar completed assignments
Proposed project personnel
List/details of available equipment and resources
