The company is seeking a self-motivated, committed, and results-driven Marketing and Corporate Relations Manager to join its team and contribute to its continued growth and market leadership.

Key Responsibilities

The Marketing and Corporate Relations Manager will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing the company’s marketing, sales support, and corporate relations initiatives.

Marketing & Brand Management

  • Develop and implement marketing and advertising campaigns.
  • Prepare marketing strategies, plans, objectives, and budgets.
  • Analyze sales forecasts and market trends to support business growth.
  • Plan and organize promotional events and presentations.
  • Maintain marketing calendars and campaign schedules.

Reporting & Market Analysis

  • Prepare comprehensive marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data.
  • Conduct competitor research by evaluating:
    • Products and services
    • Market share
    • Pricing strategies
    • Marketing activities and campaigns

Promotional Activities

  • Coordinate the design, production, and availability of promotional materials, including flyers, brochures, and other advertising resources.

Events & Corporate Relations

  • Plan and coordinate meetings, exhibitions, and trade shows by:
    • Identifying requirements
    • Establishing industry contacts
    • Developing schedules and assignments
    • Managing mailing lists and event logistics

Sales Growth & Business Development

  • Set sales targets and monitor performance.
  • Analyze sales data and develop training programs for staff.
  • Design and implement new sales initiatives, strategies, and business development programs.
  • Identify and target key customer demographics to drive market growth.

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Meet with customers to understand their evolving needs and strengthen client relationships.
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key industry players, agencies, vendors, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications & Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and competencies:

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in:
    • Corporate relations
    • Marketing campaign management
    • Brand management
    • Sales and business development

Other Requirements

  • Must be a Tanzanian citizen.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Proficient in computer applications.
  • High level of discipline and professionalism.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Innovative problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
