Job Description

AngloGold Ashanti’s Geita Gold Mine is seeking experienced, qualified, enthusiastic, and motivated candidates to join its growing Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) operator team.

The purpose of these roles is to operate heavy mining equipment in support of mining operations, conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment, and ensure work is completed according to plan while strictly adhering to safety protocols and practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate heavy mining equipment in support of mining operations.
• Conduct routine inspections of heavy mining equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance activities as required.
• Ensure assigned work is carried out according to plan.
• Strictly adhere to workplace safety protocols and practices.

Requirements

Applicants must have:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience operating heavy machinery.
• A valid heavy machinery driver’s license.
• A professional certificate in heavy machinery operation.
• Completed Secondary School Education.
• A valid Tanzanian driving license of Class C, D, E & F.
• Proficiency in reading and writing English.
• A Police Clearance Certificate.
• Successful candidates will be required to undergo pre-employment medical examinations.
