Job Purpose
The Quality Assurance Specialist will ensure effective and consistent implementation of risk and control practices across departments and units.
The role focuses on:
- Identifying operational weaknesses and control gaps
- Ensuring compliance with policies and regulations
- Supporting operational resilience and risk culture
- Monitoring performance and governance controls
- Preventing financial loss, regulatory breaches, and customer dissatisfaction
- Delivering accurate reporting for informed decision-making
Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Conduct periodic and ad hoc:
- Quality assurance reviews
- Control testing
- Operational checks
- Surprise audits
- Ensure compliance with:
- Organizational standards
- Policies and procedures
- Regulatory requirements
Risk Management & Control
- Identify and monitor:
- Operational risks
- Control gaps
- Risk events
- Emerging issues
- Perform:
- Root cause analysis
- Corrective action tracking
- Continuous improvement initiatives
Project Governance & Scheduling
- Develop and maintain:
- Governance frameworks
- PM methodologies
- Templates and tools
- Process manuals
- Manage integrated project schedules and dependencies
- Monitor:
- Schedule variances
- Milestone slippages
- Critical path impacts
- Resource constraints
- Schedule risks
Reporting & Performance Analysis
- Monitor:
- Key Risk Indicators (KRIs)
- Project delivery metrics
- Risk trends
- Support:
- Earned Value Management (EVM)
- Schedule risk analysis
- Consolidate:
- Dashboards
- Portfolio schedules
- Management reports
Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate communication between:
- Project teams
- Sponsors
- Vendors
- Governance boards
- Process owners
- Maintain and monitor the Contract Obligation Matrix
Training & Continuous Improvement
- Conduct:
- Training sessions
- Coaching initiatives
- Risk awareness programs
- Contribute to:
- Enterprise Risk Management (ERM)
- RCSA activities
- Lessons learned documentation

Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in:
- Information Technology
- Computer Science
- Commerce
- Risk Management
- Or related field
Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in:
- Risk Management
- Audit
- Project Management
Certifications (Advantageous)
- PMP
- PRINCE2
- Risk Management certifications
