JOB OPPORTUNITY: RECEPTIONIST (ADMINISTRATION/FRONT OFFICE)

Halotel is hiring a Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and callers. This role is vital for managing front desk operations and ensuring smooth communication within the organization.


JOB SUMMARY

In a telecommunications company, the Receptionist manages inquiries related to telecom services and oversees daily front-office activities to maintain a professional environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner.

  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls efficiently.

  • Provide basic information about company products and telecom services.

  • Handle customer inquiries and direct them to the appropriate department.

  • Maintain the reception area clean and organized.

  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, courier services, and deliveries.

  • Schedule appointments and manage meeting room bookings.

  • Maintain visitor logs and issue visitor passes.

  • Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation.

  • Coordinate with technical and customer service teams when necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS, REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS

  • Education: Diploma or Certificate in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field.

  • Experience: Proven experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role; telecom experience is an added advantage.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic knowledge of telecommunications services.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal abilities.

  • Soft Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, professional appearance, and a positive attitude.

  • Competencies: Time management, problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Office-based role.

  • May require working in shifts depending on company operations.

  • Daily interaction with customers, staff, and external stakeholders.
