Position Overview

Platinum Credit Ltd is seeking a dynamic, results-driven, and experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead and oversee sales operations across the Central Region.

The successful candidate will manage sales activities in:

  • Manyara
  • Dodoma
  • Singida
  • Kilosa
  • Morogoro

The role is responsible for driving revenue growth, leading sales teams, expanding market presence, maintaining customer satisfaction, and ensuring achievement of regional business targets in line with organizational objectives.


Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Performance Management

  • Develop and implement effective regional sales strategies.
  • Lead and supervise:
    • Sales Personnel
    • Field Sales Team Leaders
    • Sales Agents
  • Drive achievement of:
    • Sales targets
    • Portfolio at Risk (PAR) targets
    • Active agent targets
    • Customer acquisition targets

Business Growth & Market Expansion

  • Grow and strengthen the existing customer base.
  • Identify and penetrate new markets.
  • Promote growth of products and services.
  • Develop business opportunities within the assigned region.

Team Development & Staff Management

  • Foster a culture of teamwork, empowerment, and accountability.
  • Train, mentor, and coach sales personnel.
  • Support employee growth and performance improvement.
  • Build highly motivated and productive sales teams.

Agent Retention & Capacity Building

  • Manage attrition rates among:
    • Sales Agents
    • Field Sales Team Leaders
  • Coordinate training and development programs.
  • Ensure branches maintain the required number of active sales associates.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Maintain positive relationships with customers and business partners.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Support long-term business continuity and growth.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure strict compliance with:
    • Credit policies
    • Collection policies
    • Internal company procedures
    • Regulatory requirements
  • Promote responsible lending and portfolio quality.

Marketing & Business Development

  • Review and approve marketing route plans.
  • Monitor implementation of regional marketing activities.
  • Ensure effective execution of sales campaigns and market activation initiatives.

Branch Operations Oversight

  • Conduct regular branch visits.
  • Monitor operational performance and compliance.
  • Assess branch productivity against established targets.
  • Ensure proper implementation of company policies and guidelines.

Asset Management

  • Safeguard company assets across the region, including:
    • Office facilities
    • Equipment
    • Inventory
    • Operational resources
  • Ensure proper utilization of allocated resources and facilitation budgets.

Ethical Leadership

  • Lead by example through integrity and professionalism.
  • Promote high ethical standards among all regional staff.
  • Foster a culture of accountability and transparency.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must possess:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in:
    • Sales
    • Marketing
    • Business Administration
    • Or a related business field

from a recognized institution.


Experience Requirements

  • Minimum six (6) years of relevant work experience.
  • At least three (3) years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Demonstrated experience leading sales teams and achieving business targets.
