Role Purpose
The jobholder will be responsible for building, developing, and delivering a training program for d.light at the regional level. This role provides the sales teams with the necessary training resources and tools to improve performance and deliver customer satisfaction, while strictly adhering to the d.light mission and core business values.
Key Responsibilities
Training Analysis & Planning
-
Conduct regular training needs analysis to determine the most relevant and cost-effective training solutions for sales and service center teams to improve skills and business performance.

Collaborate with the National Training Manager and Regional Business Manager to identify tailored training requirements and plan a 6-month rolling cycle to create a regional training calendar.
Content Development & Delivery

Contributes to the design, development, and production of consistent, high-quality training materials, documents, and manuals.

Provide coaching and development to ensure the effective implementation of all new and existing classroom-based training programs.
Team Support & Evaluation
-
Assist with the induction and training of new regional team members, working alongside the Regional Business Manager to ensure quality standards and immediate training needs are met.

Evaluate, review, and update regional training materials and tools to ensure maximum effectiveness.

Work closely with Regional Business Managers to oversee the thorough implementation and evaluation of training programs.

Job Requirements
Education & Experience
-
1–3 years of general work experience (with 2–3 years of specific relevant experience).

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in the Sales and Marketing field from a reputable university.

Proven experience in conducting training needs analysis as well as designing, developing, and delivering training programs.
Key Skills & Competencies
-
Language: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Swahili & English.

Technical: Ability to use MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook).

Interpersonal: Well-developed coaching, presentation, facilitation, and organizational skills.

Attributes: Flexible, adaptable, and able to build strong relationships with internal and external partners.
