Location: North Mara (Nyamongo) – Site Based

Qualifications & Experience

Applicants must have:

• Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field.
• Valid NEBOSH or IOSH certification (added advantage).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar Safety Officer role, preferably within the mining or drilling industry.
• Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
• Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and safety meetings.
• Monitor and report hazards, incidents, and near misses.
• Provide safety training and induction to employees and contractors.
• Promote a strong safety culture across the site.
