Position: Security Investigator Supervisor (1 Position)

Duty Station: Nyanzaga Site, Sengerema District, Mwanza

Position Purpose

The Security Investigator Supervisor is responsible for identifying, preventing, and addressing fraudulent activities, security breaches, and other threats that may compromise the organization’s safety, compliance, and operational integrity. The role is critical in safeguarding company assets, employees, and information through effective investigations, evidence analysis, and risk assessment.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Conducting thorough investigations into security incidents, including theft, fraud, misconduct, and workplace violence.
• Collecting, analyzing, and evaluating evidence, documents, and witness statements.
• Preparing detailed investigation reports outlining findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
• Collaborating with law enforcement agencies and external stakeholders when necessary.
• Monitoring and reviewing CCTV footage and surveillance data to identify incidents and support investigations.
• Conducting background checks and security risk assessments for employees, contractors, and third parties as required.
• Developing, implementing, and reviewing security policies and procedures to strengthen organizational safety.
• Participating in security awareness and training programs for employees.
• Keeping up to date with industry regulations, emerging risks, and best practices related to security investigations.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should possess:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Law, or a related field.
• Proven experience in security investigations, law enforcement, or a related security role.
• Strong analytical, investigative, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in the use of investigation tools, surveillance systems, and report-writing software.
• High standards of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
• Sound knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and privacy requirements related to security and investigations.
