Position: Spa Attendant

Basic Purpose

To maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout all spa operations, assist therapists in preparing and clearing treatment rooms, and provide professional and courteous assistance to guests to ensure an exceptional spa experience.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Service

  • Respond to all guest interactions efficiently, courteously, and professionally.
  • Ensure maximum guest satisfaction and comfort at all times.
  • Handle guest inquiries regarding spa services with professionalism and hospitality.
  • Accommodate special guest requests whenever possible.
  • Resolve customer concerns and complaints promptly and effectively.
  • Escort guests to appointments and assist them with spa-related services.
  • Assist guests with the use and setup of spa facilities.

Spa Operations

  • Set up and maintain all spa areas, including:
    • Refreshment stations
    • Changing rooms
    • Treatment rooms
    • Relaxation areas
  • Prepare and clean treatment rooms according to established standards.
  • Assist therapists with treatment room setup and clearing procedures.
  • Ensure spa facilities remain clean, organized, and welcoming.

Housekeeping and Inventory Management

  • Clean and stock:
    • Walkways
    • Pantries
    • Offices
    • Common spa areas
  • Maintain required stock levels of spa linen at all times.
  • Retrieve, deliver, store, and arrange products received from purchasing.
  • Assist with cleaning and organizing all spa work areas.

Maintenance and Safety

  • Monitor and follow up on repair and maintenance requirements within the spa.
  • Ensure all equipment is in safe working condition.
  • Identify and immediately report maintenance issues and equipment malfunctions to management.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe working environment.

Teamwork and Professional Conduct

  • Work harmoniously and professionally with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Assist team members during busy periods and operational demands.
  • Participate actively in departmental meetings and daily briefings.
  • Adhere to the Lodge’s Code of Conduct and grooming and hygiene standards.
  • Demonstrate a hands-on approach and lead by example.

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Use the spa reservation software effectively and accurately.
  • Maintain operational records and support daily spa administration as required.
  • Perform any additional duties assigned by management.
