Position: Store Keeper
Job Overview
Our client is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Store Keeper to manage the receipt, storage, and issuance of goods and materials within the store/warehouse.
This is a junior-level role suited to an individual with a strong sense of integrity, organizational skill, and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Record all stock movements (receipts, issues, returns, and transfers) accurately and promptly.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical inventory with system records.
- Monitor stock levels and alert supervisors of low-stock or reorder requirements.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and arrangement of items for easy identification and retrieval.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly store/warehouse environment.
- Implement appropriate storage practices for different categories of goods.
- Prepare and maintain accurate written reports in English.
- Support periodic audits by providing accurate documentation and records.
- Issue materials and supplies to authorized personnel based on approved requisitions.
- Verify quantities and obtain proper sign-offs for all goods released.
- Safeguard company property against loss, theft, or damage.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or irregularities immediately.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 2–3 years’ experience in inventory management, warehousing, or storekeeping.
- Experience in the energy, manufacturing, or FMCG sectors is preferred.
- Computer literacy, with proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
- Ability to prepare clear and accurate written reports in English.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- High level of integrity and accountability in handling company property.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work with minimal supervision.
