About Us

African Fibres Tanzania Limited is a company engaged in sisal farming. We are looking for a skilled, hardworking, and self-motivated individual to fill the following position:

• Position: Store & Procurement Officer

• Department: Accounts Department

• Work Location: Ubena Estate, Chalinze, Pwani, Tanzania

Key Responsibilities

• Procurement: Source and purchase quality goods, materials, and supplies at competitive prices in line with the company’s budget.

• Store Management: Receive, inspect, and safely store incoming goods while maintaining proper organization within the store.

• Inventory Control: Conduct regular stock-taking exercises and prepare reports on stock levels, shortages, and replenishment needs.

• Record Keeping: Use computerized systems, including the Xero System, to accurately record all stock movements (incoming and outgoing).

• Supplier Relations: Establish and maintain strong working relationships with the company’s suppliers and vendors.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Procurement and Supply, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in storekeeping and procurement-related roles.

• Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Word) and modern inventory management systems.

• Personal Attributes: High integrity, ability to work independently, strong negotiation skills, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
