Job Purpose

The System Administrator – Office Applications is responsible for providing second-level operational support and maintenance for Office Application systems, including:

  • Active Directory Services
  • Enterprise Email Solutions
  • Microsoft 365 collaboration platforms (Teams, OneDrive)
  • Office Automation applications (SharePoint, Intranet, Optima, Smart Service, iForm, etc.)
  • Enterprise File Management Systems (NetApp)
  • External customer-facing platforms (Corporate Website, Domains, etc.)
  • Printing Services

The successful candidate will ensure maximum system uptime while working closely with business units to support the Bank’s operational objectives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide second-line support for all Office Application systems and ensure services operate at optimal performance.
  • Perform daily system health checks and monitoring using established checklists.
  • Prepare and submit daily system status reports.
  • Ensure timely resolution of audit, security, and compliance issues raised by internal and external auditors.
  • Collaborate with the NOC, SOC, and Service Management teams to manage incidents, resolve support tickets within SLA, and escalate issues to vendors when necessary.
  • Participate in disaster recovery activities, system maintenance, change management, and backup processes.
  • Work closely with fellow system administrators and vendors to troubleshoot incidents and provide 24/7 support when required.
  • Coordinate user training and testing for new and existing applications within the department.
  • Participate in ICT projects while ensuring compliance with governance standards and enterprise architecture.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Manager – Office Applications, ICT Management, or Executive Management.

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of working experience in a financial institution.
  • Professional certifications are an added advantage.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of system administration, including configuration, management, and troubleshooting of client and server operating systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, including:
    • Exchange Online
    • Microsoft Teams
    • SharePoint
    • OneDrive
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Experience working with vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with enterprise storage solutions such as NetApp and enterprise file management systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
