System Integrator Intern

IT is seeking a System Integrator Intern to join its team in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The intern will work alongside senior engineers to support the deployment and integration of Call Centre platforms, VoIP systems, and CRM solutions such as Odoo.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Responsibilities

• Assist with configuring VoIP features, including extensions, SIP accounts, call queues and IVR.
• Support CRM integration tasks such as click-to-dial, screen-pop and call-log automation.
• Participate in API-based integrations using REST APIs and webhooks under supervision.
• Troubleshoot softphones, agent desktops and basic call-quality issues.
• Run test cases for call flows, IVR and CRM workflows.

Delivery & Documentation

• Prepare technical notes, system diagrams and configuration documentation.
• Support project delivery and customer onboarding activities.
• Maintain accurate records of configurations, issues and change requests.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Telecommunications, Computer Science or a related field.
• Exposure to software development.
• Experience or exposure in VoIP, CRM support, networking or IT systems.
• Basic understanding of SIP, RTP, IP networking and softphone tools.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms, preferably Odoo.
• Interest in APIs, system integrations and automation scripting.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving mindset.
• Eagerness to learn and work alongside experienced engineers.
