ESAMI is seeking to recruit a Temporary Accountant to support its Finance and Accounts operations at its headquarters in Arusha, Tanzania.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants should have:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional qualifications such as CPA (T), ACCA, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
• A minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience in a busy and dynamic work environment.
• Sound knowledge of:
  • Accounting principles.
  • Financial reporting.
  • Budgeting.
  • Financial management processes.
• Proficiency in accounting software/ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

The Temporary Accountant will be responsible for:

• Processing financial transactions and maintaining accurate accounting records.
• Preparing financial reports and reconciliations.
• Supporting budgeting, financial analysis, and audit processes.
• Ensuring compliance with accounting policies and statutory requirements.
• Supporting ERP integration.
