Job Purpose

The Bulk SMS Product Executive / Product Specialist will be responsible for managing, promoting, and supporting Halotel’s Bulk SMS services.

The role focuses on acquiring new customers, managing existing accounts, coordinating service delivery, monitoring performance, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Promoting and selling Bulk SMS solutions to:
  • Corporate organizations
  • Government institutions
  • NGOs
  • SMEs
• Identifying and acquiring new Bulk SMS customers.
• Managing customer onboarding processes, including:
  • Account setup
  • Sender ID registration
  • Service activation
• Coordinating with technical teams on:
  • API integration
  • System configuration
• Monitoring:
  • SMS traffic
  • Delivery reports
  • Service performance
• Resolving customer issues by collaborating with technical support and network teams.
• Ensuring compliance with telecommunications regulations and customer data privacy requirements.
• Preparing:
  • Quotations
  • Contracts
  • Service agreements
• Monitoring customer usage and identifying upselling opportunities.
• Preparing weekly and monthly sales and usage reports.
• Maintaining strong relationships with enterprise customers and business partners.
• Following up on billing and customer payments.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants should have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in:
  • Telecommunications
  • Information Technology
  • Computer Science
  • Business Administration
  • Marketing
  • Related fields
• 2–5 years of experience in:
  • Telecom products
  • Enterprise sales
• Experience with the following will be an added advantage:
  • Bulk SMS services
  • CPaaS (Communication Platform as a Service)
  • A2P Messaging
  • Enterprise messaging solutions
