Job Description

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying and securing new clients across government institutions, NGOs, development organizations, and private sector companies. The role focuses on expanding ASE & Co’s market presence, developing strategic partnerships, and increasing revenue across the company’s service offerings.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Client Acquisition

  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within government, NGO, donor-funded, and private sector organizations.
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients.
  • Lead client engagement meetings, presentations, and business negotiations.
  • Prepare and coordinate proposals, expressions of interest, and tender submissions.
  • Achieve annual revenue and client acquisition targets.

Strategic Partnerships

  • Identify and establish strategic partnerships that create new business opportunities for ASE & Co.
  • Build relationships with industry stakeholders, development partners, and business associations.
  • Explore collaboration opportunities that enhance the company’s service offerings and market reach.

Investment & Growth Initiatives

  • Identify potential investors, financiers, and growth partners for business expansion initiatives.
  • Support the development of investment proposals, business cases, and partnership frameworks.
  • Engage stakeholders that can support the company’s long-term growth strategy.

Client Relationship Management

  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business and referrals.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts and strategic clients.
  • Monitor client satisfaction and identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling services.

Market Intelligence & Opportunity Tracking

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
  • Track upcoming projects, tenders, grants, and procurement opportunities relevant to ASE & Co.
  • Provide management with insights on emerging sectors and business opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in:
    • Business Administration
    • Marketing
    • Economics
    • Public Relations
    • International Relations
    • Procurement
    • Or a related field

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in:
    • Business Development
    • Sales
    • Client Relationship Management

  • Proven track record of securing contracts and growing business portfolios.
