Position Summary

VisionFund Tanzania is seeking a Communication Intern to support the Communications and Marketing team in developing engaging visual and written content.

The role focuses on graphic design, video production, and digital storytelling to strengthen brand visibility and improve audience engagement across different communication platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Create visual content including:
  • Posters
  • Banners
  • Social media graphics
  • Campaign materials
• Edit and produce short videos for:
  • Social media platforms
  • Internal communication
  • Promotional activities
• Support content creation for digital platforms, including:
  • Social media
  • Websites
  • Email campaigns
• Assist in developing creative concepts for communication campaigns.
• Ensure consistency of brand identity across all visual and multimedia content.
• Collaborate with the communications team on storytelling and content planning.
• Capture and edit photos and videos during events when required.
• Support basic social media management activities, including:
  • Content posting
  • Scheduling
  • Engagement monitoring

Required Skills & Competencies

Applicants should have:

• Proficiency in graphic design tools such as:
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • Canva
• Basic to intermediate video editing skills using tools such as:
  • Adobe Premiere Pro
  • CapCut
  • Similar video editing software
• Creativity and strong visual storytelling skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in:
  • Communication
  • Marketing
  • Graphic Design
  • Media
  • Related fields
• A portfolio demonstrating design or video work will be an added advantage.
