Yas Tanzania is seeking an experienced Fraud and Investigation Manager to lead fraud investigations, strengthen cybersecurity and fraud prevention measures, and coordinate investigations with internal teams, law enforcement agencies, and other stakeholders.

Job Summary

The Fraud and Investigation Manager will lead investigations into suspected fraud and other related matters, prepare investigation reports, recommend corrective actions, and support the implementation of measures to prevent fraud and cybersecurity incidents. The role will work closely with Yas, Mixx by Yas, and Axian Telecom teams on fraud, investigations, cybersecurity, and awareness initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive investigations into suspected fraud and non-fraud-related matters, covering both internal and external cases.
• Prepare and review detailed investigation reports and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Ensure investigations comply with applicable legal requirements and internal policies.
• Collaborate with Yas, Mixx by Yas, and Axian Telecom teams on fraud investigation, cybersecurity, and fraud-prevention initiatives.
• Support cybersecurity and fraud awareness training to strengthen prevention practices.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with law enforcement agencies and government authorities to support investigations.
• Work with IT and other relevant teams to strengthen security controls against phishing, hacking, data breaches, and related threats.
• Collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative information from multiple sources during investigations.
• Investigate processes, data, and stakeholder information to identify potential fraud risks and irregularities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in:
  • Computer Science
  • Information Technology
  • Digital Forensics
  • or another related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in fraud investigation and cybersecurity, preferably within the telecommunications industry.
• Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or other relevant professional certification is an added advantage.

• Strong understanding of fraud and cybersecurity risks.
