AB InBev is seeking a qualified and motivated Lab Technician to provide laboratory support across the production value chain by conducting quality checks and analyses on brewing raw materials to ensure products meet the company’s quality standards.

Job Purpose
The Lab Technician is responsible for providing laboratory support by performing testing and analysis on brewing raw materials and production samples, ensuring beer produced meets AB InBev’s quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Prepare samples for laboratory analysis.
- Perform in-process analyses during the production process.
- Operate laboratory equipment safely and efficiently.
- Record, evaluate, and report laboratory results accurately and on time.
- Apply troubleshooting techniques and identify root causes to support problem-solving.
- Clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment according to established schedules.
- Conduct laboratory technical audits and packaging Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) audits.
- Maintain high housekeeping and safety standards in line with 5S principles.
- Analyze inter-laboratory ring test samples.
- Ensure timely closure of laboratory non-conformances.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants should possess a Diploma in one of the following fields:
- Laboratory Science
- Food Science
- Biotechnology
- Microbiology
- Chemistry
- Or an equivalent qualification
Experience Required
- 6–12 months of on-the-job training.
- 1–2 years of experience in:
- Laboratory operations
- Brewing operations
- Packaging operations
- Experience in the food industry or laboratory environment.
- Understanding of process control within a brewing or manufacturing environment.
