About the Role

The Loan Officer will be responsible for managing loan processes, supporting customer relationships, following up on repayments, and contributing to business growth through customer acquisition and loan portfolio management.

The role is suitable for individuals with strong communication skills, customer service orientation, and interest in developing a career in financial services.

Key Responsibilities

Loan Management & Collections

• Review and follow up on outstanding customer accounts for repayment collection.
• Collect loan repayments according to agreed repayment schedules.
• Conduct customer due diligence.
• Maintain accurate Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Customer Service & Administration

• Provide excellent customer service at all times.
• Handle front desk responsibilities.
• Support administrative activities when required.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers.

Performance Targets (KPIs)

The successful candidate will be expected to achieve monthly targets related to:

• Loan disbursement.
• Loan collections.
• New customer acquisition.
• Active customer growth.

Qualifications & Requirements

Applicants should have:

• High School education or above.
• Experience in microfinance or financial services will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication, sales, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent customer service and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Self-driven, dependable, and results-oriented personality.
• Basic computer skills.
• A smartphone is an added advantage.
