About the Role
WASSHA Inc. Tanzania Branch is seeking a Logistics and Supply Chain Support Officer to monitor, control, and manage stock movements within the Head Office and between the Head Office and operational zones.
The successful candidate will also support overseas procurement and logistics activities to ensure a reliable supply of stock that meets operational requirements across all zones.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Responsibilities
- Ensure the Head Office maintains sufficient stock levels to meet demand across all operational zones.
- Ensure suppliers maintain adequate stock to support operational needs.
- Facilitate and support stock-taking activities in operational zones.
- Maintain proper organization of stores and warehouses.
- Coordinate import processes with clearing agents for all countries where WASSHA Inc. operates.
- Monitor stock levels and inventory movements.
- Track all consignments dispatched to and from operational zones, ensuring timely delivery.
- Monitor compliance with supply chain policies and procedures.
- Manage daily stock requests from operational zones and ensure timely fulfillment.
- Track overseas consignments and provide updated lead times for deliveries.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
