Job Purpose

The Maintenance Worker – Electrical will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems, cooling equipment, and wiring installations while ensuring compliance with company standards and safety procedures in residential buildings, offices, and other company facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical repairs in:
  • Company houses.
  • Offices.
  • Public areas.
  • Community centres.
  • Other company buildings.
• Install new electrical wiring systems while complying with safety standards.
• Inspect:
  • Feeder boxes.
  • Distribution boards.
  • Main switches.
  • Switch gears.
• Attend assigned work orders and provide quality customer service.
• Maintain proper housekeeping standards at all times.
• Repair and service:
  • Air conditioners.
  • Refrigerators.
  • Other cooling machines.
• Follow teamwork practices and support section goals.
• Adhere to workplace safety rules and procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should have:

• Trade Test Grade II or Level II and above from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in domestic electrical work.
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Electrical systems.
  • Electrical installations.
  • Fault finding techniques.
  • Electrical protection systems.
  • Equipment ratings.
  • Safety procedures.
  • Lockout procedures.
