Role Purpose
The Commercial Bid Manager is responsible for leading and managing the end-to-end commercial bid process for both local and international business opportunities. The role ensures that all proposals are:

- Compliant

The position plays a critical role in supporting business growth through successful bid management and commercial negotiations.
Key Responsibilities
1. End-to-End Bid Management
- Lead the complete bid lifecycle.
- Manage opportunities from qualification and response planning through:
- Proposal submission
- Negotiation
- Contract closure
- Ensure timely and high-quality bid responses.
2. Bid Strategy and Commercial Positioning
- Develop winning bid strategies.
- Align customer requirements with:
- Business objectives
- Competitive positioning
- Profitability targets
- Solution feasibility
- Support sustainable revenue growth.
3. Governance, Compliance and Risk Control
- Ensure all submissions comply with:
- Internal governance requirements
- Financial approvals
- Legal approvals
- Commercial approval processes
- Identify and mitigate risks before proposal submission.
4. Contract and Commercial Negotiation
- Manage review and negotiation of:
- Customer contracts
- Master Service Agreements (MSAs)
- Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Commercial terms and conditions
- Protect company interests while maintaining customer satisfaction.
5. Cross-Functional Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate multiple stakeholders, including:
- Sales teams
- Finance teams
- Legal teams
- Technical teams
- Business partners
- Regional affiliates
- Deliver customer-focused proposals for complex opportunities.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in:

Experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in:
- Bid management
- Commercial management
- Proposal development
- Sales support
- Experience in:
- Contract review
- Commercial negotiations
- Governance approval processes
Preferred Experience
- Telecommunications industry experience
- Technology sector experience
Added Advantage
- Project Management Certification such as:
- PMP
- PRINCE2
