Position Details

  • Rank: Senior Relationship Officer I
  • Department: Digital & Innovation

  • Reports to: Senior Manager – Strategic Partnerships
  • Location: Dar es Salaam

Position Objective

Manage and coordinate strategic partnerships that support digital financial products (loans, savings, insurance, etc.), ensuring:

  • Smooth collaboration with partners
  • Strong product uptake
  • Improved customer experience
  • Revenue growth

Key Responsibilities

1. Partnership Coordination

  • Monitor partner performance and compliance
  • Act as liaison between internal teams and external partners
  • Track deliverables and resolve issues promptly

2. Operational & Administrative Support

  • Maintain partnership databases and dashboards
  • Prepare reports, proposals, and MoUs
  • Coordinate meetings, workshops, and product launches
  • Handle daily partner requests and escalations

3. Reporting & Monitoring

  • Analyze data (customer adoption, transactions, revenue)
  • Prepare performance reports for management
  • Support monitoring and evaluation of digital products

4. Product & Relationship Support

  • Collaborate with internal teams (digital, operations, marketing)
  • Maintain strong partner relationships
  • Provide insights on customer needs and market trends

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in:
    • Banking, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, IT, etc.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years in a related field

Technical Knowledge

  • Digital banking technologies

  • Financial products & regulatory environment
